The results of the first Short-Term Scientific Missions (STSM) Call within the Mic2Food COST Action (CA24132) have been announced.
A total of six STSMs have been awarded, supporting researcher mobility, international collaboration, and knowledge exchange across the Mic2Food network. These missions will strengthen scientific partnerships between participating institutions while contributing to research and innovation in the field of microbial foods.

The first call also reflects Mic2Food’s commitment to inclusiveness and early-career researcher development. Among the successful applicants, 67% are female researchers, 67% are young researchers, and 67% are researchers from Inclusiveness Target Countries (ITCs).
The funded missions represent an important step towards building a collaborative European research community focused on advancing sustainable microbial food technologies through shared expertise, interdisciplinary cooperation, and scientific exchange.
Congratulations to all successful applicants, and thank you to everyone who participated in the first STSM call.
