The COST Workshop for Science Communication Coordinators brought together communication professionals from across the COST network to exchange experiences, strengthen collaboration, and explore effective approaches to science communication.

The workshop focused on how COST Actions can communicate their activities in a more meaningful and engaging way by moving beyond simply sharing updates towards telling stories, demonstrating impact, and engaging diverse audiences. Discussions highlighted the importance of building strong communication networks, fostering collaboration between Actions, and making scientific research more accessible to society.

A valuable session was delivered by Dr Sabine Hölter-Koch and Dr Maša Čater from COST Action TEATIME, who shared practical experiences, communication strategies, and lessons learned from their own Action. Their presentations provided participants with valuable insights and practical ideas that can be adapted across different COST Actions.

Beyond the presentations, the workshop offered an excellent opportunity for participants to connect in person, exchange ideas, and establish new collaborations that will strengthen future communication activities across the COST programme.

The event reinforced the importance of collaboration, knowledge sharing, and effective science communication in increasing the visibility and societal impact of research carried out within the COST network.
