The Mic2Food Working Groups Meeting brought together members of the Mic2Food network in Wroclaw, Poland, providing an opportunity to exchange knowledge, strengthen collaboration, and advance joint activities across the Action’s Working Groups.

The meeting featured discussions across several key areas of microbial food research and innovation. Sessions covered commercialisation and regulation (WG5), dissemination, training and events (WG6), downstream processing and formulation development (WG3), and food chemistry and analytics (WG4).

Throughout the meeting, participants explored topics ranging from regulatory pathways and market entry to communication and outreach, as well as the scientific and technological challenges involved in transforming microbial biomass into safe, functional, and high-quality food products.

The meeting also provided an important platform for Working Group members to share perspectives, identify opportunities for collaboration, and discuss the next steps within the Mic2Food network.

We thank all speakers, contributors, and participants for their valuable contributions and for making the meeting in Wroclaw a productive and engaging gathering.
